Director Todd Phillips published new photos from “Joker 2: Folie à Deux”, which show the protagonists played by Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga dancing.
In addition to the two protagonists, the new film will also have Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Steve Coogan and Ken Leung in the cast.
Todd Phillips returns to direct and write the sequel, also bringing with him the co-writer of the first Joker, Scott Silver.
Little is known about the plot of the film, other than the setting in Arkham Asylum and the inclusion of musical elements with one of the references being the film “New York, New York”, by Martin Scorsese.
The premiere of Folie à Deux was scheduled for October 4th.
