This Tuesday (23/8), Netflix released the official poster for season 5 of ‘Cobra Kai’, in the image of several characters from the series.

The story follows after the shocking result of the Regional Tournament, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) tries to expand his empire and make “no mercy” karate dominate the region. With Kreese (Martin Kove) in prison and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) away from karate to repair the damage he’s done, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) teams up with Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto, 63) to take Terry down once and for all.

The new season premieres on September 9th. The cast also includes Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser and Jacob Bertrand.
“Cobra Kai” is based on the original “Karate Kid” trilogy from the 80s, by Robert Mark Kamen. Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg created the series and produced by Counterbalance Entertainment. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, all seasons are available on Netflix.
